I dislike the unobtanium factory cargo rail system, it looks as if it would be dead simple to through-bolt track sections to the inside edges of the plastic trim, into the steel. You would just need to add spacers of the correct thickness to prevent the plastic from getting damaged. Adding a track to the front bed cross rail would be easier yet.
I have used these track kits on many different vehicles and trailers, the results are excellent, and the welded ring tie downs are rated at a whopping 2000 pounds at a 45 degree pull angle.
I am unsure about the floor tracks, I haven’t crawled around under there to see if you could use nuts for some of the screws. You might have to use steel rivnuts, which I am fine with. I have that tooling… I would probably hold off on the floor tracks, since I may buy a Decked drawer system, and that would block them (but the Decked would add its own tie downs along its top edges.)
