Grommet Locations?

Hello all!

Working on installing my GMRS radio and have managed the interior work fine, but would like to pass the antenna wiring through to the rear and mount on the bed. Where are the best passthrough points towards the rear of the cab? This is for install on a 2024 NA Ranger Raptor.

I've installed in the lower glove box (I like using the upper one for various quick storage needs). Past installing the unit I passed the power wire over to the driver side fuse panel, will add a circuit there. Then I'm going to run the antenna cable through the harness channel under the passenger side seal trim, through the grommet, then mounting on the front of the bed (towards the cab).

Thanks for the post, I just installed a third brake light by Bullet Proof Diesel and I have the antenna cable and wiring sitting in the back seat now. Can you share a photo of the grommets under the rear seats? I can’t seem to find them. Thanks!

Hey all!

I will get a picture of the front passenger seat grommet location. I'm going to have to get the rear cab grommets figured out soon as I'm doing an offroad rally where we'll likely pull wire for Starlink and some other devices in the bed. If I find those I will post those pictures as well!

Any luck into finding way to bed from cab i have dashcam to run to bed but don't want to drill holes

If you're wondering how to get wiring through the grommet between the cab and the bed, this is one route. Drop the rear seat back down and remove the liner to reveal a grommet (well one on each side). Poking from inside towards the outside through it is not insanely tough, but I had to go from the outside to the inside because of the size of the connector on my Midland antenna cable. It was a HUGE pain and I ended up popping the entire grommet out eventually to cut it and push things in and pray that it went back in (which was also a pain). The narrow space between the cab and bed back makes it harder.

Pictures here. I then ran it down the C pillar trim, through the channels behind the floor/door edge trim and then under the carpet to the center console where I had the radio stashed in the (very generous) space under where the parking-brake lever is.
