Over the last couple of week I’ve been seeing alerts saying the same thing about the passenger side fender sensor having an issue. The screen behind the steering wheel instructs to check the manual. The screen in the center pinpoints that particular sensor. I searched the manual but turned up zero results. It’s an intermittent issue that seems more of a false flag since the sensor is triggered when I park between two cars. I’ve physically inspected the area for a loose connection but have not located anything obvious. Anyone else?

I had that issue the last time I took my truck through the touchless carwash. Persisted for nearly a week. I parked in a heated underground garage for a day, and the problem went away. I assumed I got water and then possibly ice in a connector somewhere. Going to the dealership if it happens again.

Thanks. Interesting. I haven’t washed mine in an awhile because we were in a drought and I keep it under a carport. But, it could be weather related. It has gotten cold lately. I turned off park assist to stop the annoying false warnings.

Mine had this exact issue on the same side. Took the truck in for warranty work and the dealership confirmed that it was a bad sensor. They are currently on backorder, so I just turned my front sensors off for now.

I have 24 Ranger Lariat also, I’ve had it for 3 months and I’ve been back to the dealer for the same right front sensor issue, mechanic seen it do it, but he‘s stumped because it won’t throw a code, the cold temperature affects it, only happens when it is cold when the temperature gets into 40’s and above it works ok, crazy part it’s only the one sensor out of the whole bunch, I think it left the factory with the issue and now that its cold it showed up, its very annoying and I hope it gets resolved. My Built date was the last week in August.
