I definitely feel for those that have waited since last year. It sucks to be an early buyer yet not seemingly be a priority to Ford in the build process. Same thing happened with the Broncos so it isn't new. I'll just be happy to get mine to the dealer before October.I just took delivery of my May 2023 order. There is no method to the madness.
October seems pretty conservative based on your build date so hopefully you'll be good!I definitely feel for those that have waited since last year. banjo5, Please keep us updated with your order. My order is a dealer order (their explanation why was weak, but I want the truck so, ok) and I won't get current updates as the build goes so will be curious with your order how mine might go. thanks!Looks like I now have an Aug 19th build date. Hoping this stays on track.

I lucked out and got a Dealer Order on May 17th. Build date was said to be the next week. On May 30th they called and told me it had shipped! June 7th they said it had arrived and it would be ready for delivery on the 8th! I was there with my 2019 Ranger lariat for trade in and off the lot within 2 hours! Ovein every minute of it since!Looks like I now have an Aug 19th build date. Hoping this stays on track.

Yes, that would be helpful. It does seem that some orders get built on-time, some get delayed and some after being built get held up for unknown reasons. It would be nice to have more details as a customer placing an order on a ~$60k vehicle. I think that is where all the car manufacturers could improve things if they ever want to move to a direct sales/delivery model. Customers want accurate information and timelines and if something changes just provide a detailed update. I'm off my soapbox now but with so many challenges in the car industry this just seems like a good way for a manufacturer to differentiate themselves from the competition. Hopefully Ford is reading this and maybe consider improving the process and communications.Mine is scheduled 2 weeks before, so hopefully that means I can give you a couple week's worth of heads up on movement lol
