First car with micro sized fuses. Was going to buy an assortment kit and keep in glovebox because that's what I've always done. Been many yrs since I replaced a fuse though. What say you? Ya'll packing fuses in your emergency parts toolbox? I'm most likely calling roadside if something not work.

Is it ok to store spare fuses in "not used" spaces? Or could that cause problems?

PS: aside from fuses + lug nuts, any spare emergency parts ya'll carry? I'm not overlanding or off-grid camping, but nice to have a few parts that will "get you back home" rather than wait for a tow truck. Carried an extra serpentine belt in my F150.

I keep a hndful of fuses, a small socket set, a handful of hand tools (pliers, screwdriver, duct tape, zip tie), jumper cables, a gallon of water (for me or the car), some snacks, fire extinguisher, chain, serp belt, headlight, at least. Now in the offroad rigs (Exploder and Ranger), then I carry much, much more haha.

Whats in the offroad rigs
First aid kit, combo axe/shovel, fire extinguisher, socket set, tire inflator, tire plugs, basic hand tools (crescent wrench, screwdrivers, pliers), zip ties, soft shackle, tow strap, flares, beef jerky, energy bar things, water, blanket, poncho, gloves, flashlight & batteries, jumper & extra set of cables, wheel chocks, bottle jack w/ axle adapter, trac boards, spare fuses, hose repair kit, duct tape, variosu elngths of fuel anddryer hose, extra oil, extra trans fluid, brake fluid, grease, serp belt, headlights, random hardware, bug spray, 2x FRS radios, hand winch (in Ranger, winch on explorer...), box cutter, multimeter, electrical tape, solder iron, crimp connectors, boots, trash bags... think that's all!

I keep mine in a small fishing lure plastic container about 5 each size and it fits nicely in the seat pocket on the back of the seats.

The only problem I would have storing fuses in an unused slot is that I'll forget that that slot is a spare when I'll need one. And what are the odds that it will be the size I need. I used to keep a set it the glove box but haven't lately because I haven't had to replace on one over 20 years.
The only thing I keep in the truck is a pair of gloves, air pressure guage and a USB rechargeable flashlight.
I've never heard of anyone keeping spare lug nuts.

I'd personally keep the fuses in the case the came it which hopefully has the fuse puller. As fuses have become smaller, they've become a bigger pain to pull and install. I'm not going to place them in blank slots because I wouldn't want to pull them.

I don't off-road really, so the only emergency stuff I carry is a tire plug kit, an inflator and a general first aid kit.
