I have 255/70r18 Wildpeak AT4/W’s on my Lariat FX4on stock wheels; 32.1 x 10”. It’s tight with the upper control arms, but no rubbing. You might have a problem with the width of 265/70r17‘s as they are 31.6 x 10.4” unless you add spacers or buy wheels with a different offset. Here are a few pictures of my Wildpeaks.

SL… LT’s are much heavier and overkill for this truck, even if you do a lot of towing.

I bought wheels with an offset of +40mm I'm pretty sure 265/70R18 will work but I think 275's might rub the control arms. 265's on the stock +55mm is going to be cutting it really close. The only thing that makes me think 275/70R18 might work is that 285/70R18 seems to fit on a +35 offset wheel. You also have to check individual tires as they aren't all exactly the same height and width. Cooper makes a 265/70R18 that's a 33.2" tire while most are around 32.6" Its all pretty inconsistent. Anyways we need more people experimenting with tire sized and offsets and then posting the results on here. You're on a 17" wheel so you wont be as tall so wont be as tight as what you would think from Steve's photos. I still kind of doubt it though, a 255/75R17 might be interesting.

That would be the 17” wheel equivalent of what I’m running… but Falken doesn’t offer that for the AT4/W. The LT255/80r17 is probably too tall without a small lift. There are only a couple 75mm sidewall option, none that are really good.
