I have a 24 XLT FX4.
Last coming home in the rain it suddenly got cold in the truck, the AC was on.
I don't have auto climate, but my compressor is running in all modes other than off.
Just turning the heat know up will make it engage.
I know it will come on with defrost but I have checked and that's not on.
Is this normal, or another glitch in the electronics of this truck.
Like when the reverse braking randomly kicks in, and it won't let me out of my yard.

I know there is a humidity sensor in there maybe that's what activated it.

Whenever I have the AC button on the compressor is always running. I would say this is normal?? If I turn the AC off, the compressor turns off and it’s then just the fan running

With the reverse sensors - usually speed is what will make them overly sensitive, I find it will let you push past the point of where it stops if you just lightly tap the accelerator pedal a few times, it should then allow you to keep driving. Or just try to back up slower and not ‘scare’ the system

Hopefully it's just the humidity sensor, we had the big rains come through yesterday.
I had verified no defrost or AC before posting.
