Have not and not sure what ur looking to do but its pretty easy to trigger lights and things off of other vehicle functions like fog lights, headlights, etc. i did it in my previous ranger. Had lightbar and ditch lights set to trigger off the fogs so i didnt have to add any switches in the cabin just used the factor fog light button. A very clean “undoable” way to do it is just get a piggyback section of cable and plugs male and female of the light ur are triggering off of (ie fog light connector) then have the power wire of the fog go to the input on the lightbar relay for the “switch” wire. Aka fog lights on triggers a veryyy small amt of power to switch the relay on to let battery power the accessory. I could be off base here and just proving information u werent asking for haha so apologies if thats the case

thats exactly what i am trying to do, just cant find a piggy back that is confirmed to fit, what i DID find tho is a pac canbus module that has a highbeam trigger wire, ill just need to run a wire thru the firewall to another relay, then use the aux 5/6 to power that relay. What I am trying to track down now is if there are passthru wires like the f150 raptor and/or a odb port in the engine bay i havent seen

ah I see. yea I dont think there are pass thru wires like the F150 based on my research. what you could do is hook one of the powered Aux switch leads into the (gonna use light bar as an example here) light bar relay as the power wire, and use the headlight piggyback as the switch signal on the light bar relay. that way both would need to be on for the lighter to be on.

As for the piggy back you could probably just make one up. just take a look at your headlight connector or do some searching and find the male and female version, buy both, and wire the two together.

I dont know if this is accurate but shows on ford parts. I’m sure the headlight connector is a fairly common part or at least used across multiple models. (I dont think this is the actual one but just 5 mins of searching)

Since everything is on canbus now would that not cause any issues?? Remember a post on here about a dude that tapped into one of the rear view mirror wires to for a hard wire dashcam and then he had all sorts of issues, read somewhere something about a one way diode blocker to not mess with canbus?

I’m not sure if the actual headlight itself is on canbus. I tapped the tail light for my camper third brake light and it definitely wasnt twisted pairs for canbus. I believe all all canbus wires are twisted pairs so you should be able to look and see ( i could be wrong not a canbus expert)

But there may be a module or just the trucks computer thats obviously on canbus that sends the power to the headlight.
