Canadian Accessory thread

Hey, i have looked for other threads for Canadian specific accessories and don't see any.

Does anyone have a good place for a tonneau cover yet? Ford quoted me 2k installed for theirs and im hoping to find a cheaper one.

Preferably a tri-fold. but open to options

I got mine for $675 tax incl.
It's a Bison Cover which is basically a rebranded Extang Solid Fold 2.0 for half the price and it does what I want it to do.

did you install it yourself? was it hard?

for the tailgate end, does it seal well? my last cover had this rubber part that would freeze and essentially get the tailgate stuck when it was really cold.

No they installed it for free as I am close to their warehouse but it would be easy to install, I watched the tech it took him like 5 mins and that included him installing the mounts for the tie downs. It is held on by 4 clamps so easy on/off. It seals good on top of tailgate but we all know the tailgate has a big gap in it from factory, I may get a seal kit later. Will have to wait and see if it freezes to top this winter, if it does I will just do what I did with my other one. Put some silcone spray on it, still freezes a bit but not solid like a block of ice.
Also this cover doesn't fold up all the way and block your rear window, now they do have one like that but I didn't want that one.

I plan on ordering this right away. It costs a hair more, but it mounts flush with the bed. Same company.

I purchased the same Bison Tri-fold flip back cover. Bring cash and the tax will disappear. Cover seems more than fair for the price. Free install is the cherry on top. They left some sharp metal edges on the rails, but these can be filed down at home or you can stick on a rubber cap. Make sure you call before you show up. Put a set of clamps on hold as they are constantly out of stock.

I bought and installed the Truxedo TruXport for mine. This will be the 3rd truck I have had with that model. I want to have access to the entire bed, so a roll up is the only option I look at. Right around $450 delivered to me, I ordered from Hitchweb, they had the best price came in about 3 days. Took me about an hour or so to install but I was taking my time and am slow.

Looks great!! I just picked up my Ranger Lariat today and was looking at that exact same cover. Just wondering how it seals on the front since the front bed rail is about an inch shorter than the side rails?

Seal great on front. There is a 1 inch foam tape(high density foam) that seals that big gap.
