First Post. Had a front XPel PPF done (fenders forward) along with the thresholds. Light polish and ceramic coat on everything (plastics too). Had the Raptor stickers removed from the bed and had the front markers tinted. Love this truck, it's so much fun to drive. Last two photos are an issue we found after we got the truck home the first time. The front fascia above the skit plate wasn't installed form teh facotry correctly. Dealer is ordering a new part and we are going to have it replaced. Made us chuckle a little.

The truck looks great. you can fix that tab sticking out with a trim removal tool and a little pressure in about five minutes.

Yea, I've looked at it. The plastic is actually dented from them pushing the panel home at the factory. Rather just let the dealer buy a new piece. Only get to use that sweet bumper to bumper warrantee for a short time.

That turned out great! I was thinking about PPF on the whole truck when mine comes in since I know the types of trails I'll be going down are quite prone to pinstriping anything you care about. How much did the PPF portion end up running you? I'm leaning towards a DIY solution since I've inherited my grandfather's frugalness

The full front was 2k. Again, front fenders, hood, painted front fascia panel, headlights, side view mirrors. Also did the door thresholds to keep those shoe scuffs away. Xpel Ultimate Plus.

That's not too bad! I was thinking about getting their thicker version for the fenders and doors, and then using the Ultimate Plus for the rest of the truck. Good call on the door thresholds, my dogs' nails scratched up the rear door sills on my '19 pretty good. I'm betting my son will do a number on them once he gets old enough to climb in the back by himself

Looks really good.
I was quoted around $900 for the major stuff you did, but did the full wrap instead for about $2K (LLumar Valor).
4 applications of 9H ceramic added another $1,300, before the discount for them using my truck for 3D scanning for their planned build (they still don't have their RR, yet).

Who's doing your work? Do they do graphics? I'm picking my black RR up in Louisiana if it ever arrives, but wouldn't think twice of driving to Minnesota for reputable graphics. Alaska is my final destination.

Apparently they do custom graphics. It was Leroy's Customs (now Automotive Concepts) when they did my '99 F-150 shortbox flareside 5.2, so I gave them a chance on my mostly protection/ceramic work. They also added a nice wolves in winter graphic on the F-150 tailgate. I was happy with the results. I noticed reviews vary - don't expect it to be done in a day or two, plus it is better if you can keep out of the wet for a bit after work is done. I believe they take the vehicle to their nearby sister site for PPF and graphics. They have a planned RR build for Sema 2024 in Vegas, I believe. Apparently adding a moonroof, too? My impression - they are pretty good but not the best out there. Their gallery shows mostly older builds. Sounds like you'll be in my neck of the swamp! What part of Louisiana are you picking yours up from?

Have you tried asking Vaughn if they know of any aftermarket/graphics specialists somewhere near the dealer? Then you could research capabilities or even go over design options closer to the delivery point.

I get one sentence answers, about 5 words long that seem like they came from someone using 2 thumbs on a cell phone. Basically, no response. Last thing I heard from them was in February "I'll see what I can do."

I'm considering dumping this order, getting my deposit back, and looking for a dealer that's customer oriented. I just need a black RR is all.
