My Aux Switch # 1 doesn't work. Have checked Fuse and Relay and no power when switched on and engine running or in Accessories mode. Any ideas on what else to check? Replaced fuse, swapped Relay to a circuit I knew worked and the Relay was functioning properly. Not something I want to bring in to the Dealer for but would like to use that Aux and it's 5Amp circuit instead of 15 Amp for some LED lights.

Try to warrantee it with your next dealer oil change.

I think you have that backwards. I used Aux#2 and it works by just attaching the power wire from the LEDs to it. Ground wire of LEDs to frame ground bolt.

that's right sorry, I mixed them up. only 3 and 4 are not wired, the others are

did you try with a tester to check if there is power between aux 1 live wire and the aux ground wire instead of a frame bolt?

Unfortunately Dealer doesn’t do warranty work during Service appointments. It would be a separate appointment just for this issue. Hassle enough to drop it off for Service. There a recall on the windows I need to get done but I’m waiting for Ford to do a Service change and add the J-Braces for free which seems to be in the works. Then it may be worth Brigitte in and have all three done.

Yes, tested every connection possible. Most simple was connecting current Aux2 connection that works, (so ground is good) to Aux1 which doesn’t. (So it’s aux1 power ) that doesn’t. Tried multimeter testing as well and no power. Swapped #1 Relay with #2 Relay (which works) to #1 slot and no power from #1.
Afraid it’s the wiring below the fuse/relay box.
Here is the wiring diagram if it helps any.
Thanks! This should be fun!

does the switch light light up?the pwr is common to all switches, so the problem must be in the aux 1 line out to relay, or from relay to the load. should not be a major thing to figure out

Yes, the switch light does light up. I'm convinced it is the power out from Fuse/relay box issue. Tempted to check the wiring underneath but not worth the work at this point as I really don't need it right now.

just run a continuity check from relay to load and you will figure out quickly which segment is the problem
