Any one know if the New Ranger will have technology to allow for Car Play via Blue tooth or charging pad? Prior versions of Ranger only allowed Car Play if you physically connected to the USB port.

The charging pad plays no part in connecting to CarPlay. Bluetooth is only used for initial setup. Sync 4A has wireless Apple CarPlay capability, but does it through a Wifi connection. Just a small technical note, but you will indeed have the ability to connect to your phone without a cable.

Guess I need to change my profile vehicle from a 2019 Ranger Lariat to a 2024 Lariat- placed my order and paid the $500 today. Great news on the WiFi doing all the work.
-Cheers

I bought an AA Wireless dingle thing for my '19. Waited months, cost >$100...it worked spotty for a while but started to constantly disconnect. An issue listening to music, having it cut out, but a BIG problem when using Waze to travel... Garbage...can't wait for built-in.

There are a lot out there. I’ve used two of the better known brands (CPlay2Air and CarLinkIt) in my 17 Explorer and my 18 Malibu fleet car. They work pretty decently but they are very slow. Still, it’s cheaper than trying cram an aftermarket unit in. Having it built in will be VERY nice!
