My Ranger Raptor center screen locked up yesterday.
It was in reverse and showing an image that I just happened to notice was not moving when the truck was moving.
I luckily realized the image was frozen before backing into anything.
I tried to X out of the cameras nothing was working on the center screen, the whole screen was frozen.
Had to shut the truck off and restart, then shut the truck off again and open a door to get the screen to shut off and it all started working again after that second restart.
Has me a bit gun shy trusting my cameras now.
The image was clear as can be, just frozen .
So, you could run into something, if your trusting the cameras to show you real time images of where you are at.
Never seen anything like this before. I have had many many vehicles with backup cameras going on 20 years.
Never had one do this.
