That’s also the drive mode selector so if you want to switch from normal to eco for example you have a way to do that without them creating a new control for one model.Interesting that it’s a 2wd but it still had the 4wd knob, just blank except a center icon. Maybe the center icon is for a locker? I assumed a 2wd would just have a hole there instead of the knob since that’s what the overseas one has. I’d personally prefer having a knob there because otherwise the hole was just going to collect dust.
Looks like the door might be able to hold a good size water bottle which would be awesome.
It does look pretty white in this video, but I've never seen Cactus Gray appear white on any Ford I've seen in the wild. It kinda ranges from a light gray to a really light green. It looks a lot better than that sounds though.Glad I went Cactus Grey almost looks white. I did change the interior to Sandstone though.
That white looks sharp, I could change from silver when time comes before production. Any idea when the v6 option will be available ?Here's a white one for comparison. I pulled these pics from a FB group post. Seems like there's a few factory reps visiting dealerships across the country.

Ford has stated late fall so probably first half of December, unless it gets pushed back.. Any idea when the v6 option will be available ?l
I owned a 5G in Cactus Gray and in darker lighting, it can definitely pass as white. That's one of the reasons I love the color because it's a bit of a chameleon color that you don't get tired of.It does look pretty white in this video, but I've never seen Cactus Gray appear white on any Ford I've seen in the wild. I also ordered the Cactus Grey with Sandstone interior. Can't wait!!!Glad I went Cactus Grey almost looks white. I did change the interior to Sandstone though.
saw that too. I was thinking I’d miss a normal shifter, but I think the electronic one will fit the look for the lariat much better. That Lariat has the XLT and XL shifter, which is a little odd.Makes me wonder if the blank 4wd switch is a placeholdersince it seems like a little much for the RWD version.
Edit: I noticed that the drive mode selector is the control for the advanced trailer control (right at 6:00)
I ordered a 2WD XLT with advanced towing, so this truck's console should look just like mine. This is the first I've seen it since all the trucks in the launch videos were 4WD.saw that too. I was thinking I’d miss a normal shifter, but I think the electronic one will fit the look for the lariat much better.
