I realize this thought is somewhat premature but...

Is anyone looking into aftermarket front bumpers for their 24 Ranger?

Have you found anything good? I have seen a few available in Australia.

I love the design of everything on the 24 Ranger, except the front end.

Give it time. I hope that ADV does raptor bumpers. But right now all I see is the overseas stuff (ARB, Predator, Hamer, etc)

Depends on if it’s the raptor or not. To me it looks like the xl, xlt, and lariat have full plastic front bumpers, so I’m guessing you will have to cut up the stock bumper to fit a metal aftermarket one, just like they have to do on Toyotas. The Raptor looks like the bumper is removable and replaceable without major cutting. Not the biggest reason I chose the raptor instead of the lariat, that would have been the performance, but the ugly bumper was still a big contributor for me.

The bumper cover comes off on the lariats. There are two riser on it to the left and right of the grill that have to be filled
. But the bumper comes off normally. There are already installation videos online of it.

Raptor has no risers so it’s just pull and replace.

No cutting required.

The problem with the risers is they are either black plastic or have to be painted. To properly paint match there would need to be some blending onto the factory paint on the hood and fenders, and paint matched items that are ordered painted never match the factory paint. Sounds like a pain on tri coat paints like azure gray. That’s why they cut the factory bumper cover, so that the paint will match without repainting new factory paint. Big fail by ford.

Tri-coat paints are very hard to color match panel to panel without blending, and even then it's a pain because of the pearl metallic used over the base color. It's the coats/layers of pearl metallic that make the tri-stage paints look like they do. They look nice but I hated every time I had to repair one.

If there's enough 'distraction' (different color trim, moldings & such to draw your attention away) on the piece you want to paint, like a front bumper, you could possibly get away with it, but anywhere a significant amount of that part butts up against a fender, hood and such it will be noticeable.

But you don't have to do that. Some of the bumpers have the riser integral.
