AFE reusable air filter

Hey all,

Anybody using the AFE reusable air filters for the oem stock air box? If so are you using the dry media one or oiled media one.
I do some off-roading out west with very dry dusty conditions in the RR.
I have used the dry media before on sxs's and they seemed to block dust very well.

I just put the dry one in a few weeks ago so I really have nothing to report other than it took a fair amount of time for it to be delivered. Thier email communication was on point though regarding the delays, so I give them that.

I used them in 2 of my Highlander and my old Ridgeline. I liked them. Will get one for my Ranger when it is due to be replaced

I have used the dry one from my 2 previous vehicles. Didn't notice anything different from stock other than you save money as you can clean it. Probably get one for my Lariat when it's time to replace my stock one.

So I looked at the different media's they offer and it looks like the best one for offroad is the Pro 7 hybrid. So I just called the company and they do not offer this media filter in the oem style filter

I just dropped in the dry aFe the other day. For me it's my go to air filter that I had used in all my other performance cars in the past, very well made!
