360 Cameras used as dash cam

Does anyone know of a way to use the 360 degree cameras as a dashcam? Since the cams are already mounted, being able to record from these would be awesome.

Nope! It seems only Tesla does this for now

It’s crazy but I really wished car manufactures started to utilise these cameras for dashcams. It just makes sense. All they need to add is an SD card slot in the console or glove box and add a toggle in the menu to option recording or not

This makes way too much sense for corporate America to adopt it. Now if they can charge a monthly subscription for it..........................

Makes sense. That's probably why. Reverse cameras are required in all new cars. It would seem from a law enforcement standpoint it would be a huge benefit to accident investigation. I would imagine that one day it will happen. It will tank the aftermarket industry though. But most are made overseas so who cares.

I don’t want to enable this type of practice. But if I could plug in my own storage and record with some customizations. I’d pay $10/mo sub for that feature.
