I got my 2025 RR almost 2 weeks ago and have been impressed by it so far. I'm curious about the production differences between the North American 2024 and 2025 model years. Here are the things I'm tracking and would like to get a list going.

Ford added the fix for the JBraces in late 2024 so included in 2025s
Tow flat mode now available on 2025 but not 2024?
My 2025 is missing the 12V power outlet in the bed and have seen pictures of other 2025s missing it as well.
Any paint color changes?
Ford Performance tune not yet approved for 2025 models but hopefully soon.

Anything else I'm missing?

Active park assist in the lariat (and raptor?) is gone, and along with it the stubby little e-shifter.

FP tune might be approved not for 2025 except in California

Interesting. I clicked on the Parking button in the center console and it appears it only lead to a menu that lets you enable/disable the front/rear parking sensors. Did the 2024s have auto-parking capability? Also what do you mean by stubby little e-shifter?

Keypad is now a Dealer installed option and only comes in black.
Is the "only black" confirmed somewhere? I've seen online pictures of supposed 2025 Rangers with body colored keypads. Only black would be horrible.

J-Brace is an accessory provided by Ford for the Ranger 2024 model to strengthen the tub stability. When the tub is equipped with accessories weighing more than 40kg, this J-Brace needs to be installed to adapt to off-road conditions. The late 2024 and 2025 models no longer need this accessory due to design changes.

They removed the park assist that was on the '24 models. If you have a '24 with the mechanical shifter the auto park feature turns the wheel only, you have to shift and use the break/gas. If you have a '24 with the e-shifter then the truck 100% controls steering, shifting and break/gas. Ford says they determined the park assist is not used by many customers so they removed it. Personally I think they removed it to commonize all models into the mechanical shifter a de-content a little. I think I read somewhere the software and senor integration is still onboard the '25s its just deactivated.

If you have a '24 check your build date, if built after roughly Sept 15 24 you have the reinforced box already.

Nevermind.. I wasn't even thinking about there being a different shifter on other Ranger models.

2025 Raptor retains the stubby e-shifter but Active Park Assist has been removed.

I've never been assisted when parking, nor do I even plan on it.

Unless it's gonna let me pull up, get out of the car and go about my business while it parks, locks up and shuts down, it ain't worth it.

My 2010 Ford Escape has the ability to parallel park itself. Never in the 15 years I've own it have I ever used this feature. Can't believe Ford was still equipping the vehicles they build with this worthless feature. About time they dropped it as it adds to repair costs when bumper covers need to be replaced.

I don't disagree and have never used any assisted parking features on any vehicle. I do like the parking sensors of course but too old to trust any of the "auto parking, trailer backup, self-driving, etc". I'm not going to miss the feature on my 2025, just trying to see what the differences are in 24 to 25.
