Based in DFW and reached out to a few dealers who said they could get an order delivered in about 8 weeks. Is that the norm now, seems some folks are still waiting on trucks?

I ordered Feb 10 and should be taking delivery around end of April or early May.

Not really, unless they are talking about stock orders that are scheduled. Otherwise, if an order gets scheduled this week, production is in June. Delivery would likely be in July. The order would have to get scheduled this week though. This goes down the rabbit hole of dealer allocation.

The only way to get it quicker would be already in stock, a stock order that's already well underway, or a canceled retail order that's already well underway.

If you order a truck, anticipate approximately 3-4 months, and keep up with the current tariff concerns.

If you order, find a dealer with higher sales volume, which will have more allocations and gets scheduled sooner.

The removal of Park Assist is odd.... it's a software feature. I mean, I personally don't need it but it would have been a fun party trick.

Just FYI, you get 31000 reward points instead of 42000 (as of 10/1/24) for vehicle purchase

Watch Long MacArthur on YouTube. They cover the allocation system Ford uses very well. If you ordered a Raptor you have to find a dealer the has Raptor allocations that aren't spoken for. Right now smaller Ford dealerships are getting the allocations. I ordered in November but the dealership is not getting allocations so I was left waiting with 18 other RR buyers. No real hope my order will get built this model year. I searched for on the ground in units, was able to buy an out of state Raptor and had it delivered.
If you are impatient like me you may want to do a nationwide search. I found the smaller dealerships don't seem to be greedy like the big guys.

Just agreed on a trade in on my 19 Lariat, 28k. Payoff is 3k so the rest is a down payment for the RR.

I just heard from my dealer that the truck is in the local distribution lot in the Minneapolis/St Paul area. Should be able to pick it up this coming week. I guess the Ford Order system must have missed a status update.
