Yes, the previous two Rangers I had (2017 XLT and first gen Ranger Raptor) were also considerably heavier than what the paperwork said it should be. The first Ranger I took to two scales to see if the first one was off, but I think Ford is being very optimistic with empty weight in order to show a higher payload.

A friend of mine had a 3.2 Diesel Ranger, and it was almost 300kg heavier than the advertised curb weight! But I heard the same thing from folks that drive Hilux's, so maybe a common thing?

I think we need to consider that swapping out the old bumper for a winch bumper doesn't add a ton of weight. Unless you build one out of 1/2 inch steel like I did for my F-250.

A winch bumper should only add a space for the winch to fit in, and a way to direct the pull of the winch to the frame of the Ranger.

As for the added weight of the winch, I'm not familiar with newer ones, but my old 8,000 pound winch couldn't have weighed more than 50 - 60 pounds, because at 5'4" I could carry it around and set it on to my new winch bumper.

Anyone found anything yet? Everything I find online seems to be for European or Australian markets.

I was hoping someone would have a good option by now. I'm looking for something that keeps a clean profile similar to the stock bumper that can fit a 12,000 pound winch and keep all the factory sensors. I like the Hammer Atlas but would like to find something available in the States instead of over seas. Anyone seen any US options similar to that?

Rhine has bumpers. i think I am going to order both front and rear from them. These look better than any of the others I have seen.
