Has anybody here with a 2025 added keyless entry and if so, what part number did you use?

I planned on adding a wireless keypad once I took delivery of my 2025 but my dealership says the one that's listed as working on the 2024 (KB3Z14A626B) is shown as not being compatible with the 2025.

The one they show as being compatible appears to cost a bit more and comes bare, requiring paint, which also adds to the price.

I came across this video from Long McArthur which appears to confirm, Ford changed the operating frequency on the '25 models, so older keypads won't work.

I ordered one through my dealership for my 2025 RR and they installed it for me. I have no idea whether it's a 2024 model or a 2025 model but the one they installed for me works great and I love the idea of not having to always have my fob on my person to get in my truck.

I can leave the fob inside the truck or elsewhere and lock it with the keypad and when I return to the truck just enter my code. Very convenient. I hope you are able to get one to work for you.

Stupid question, when do you guys use it. I have had it on several trucks but never use it.

Sometimes I drive tractor for my buddy and need to leave my truck while I change fields. My buddy will have someone move my truck to the new field. The keypad allows me to leave the fob in the truck and keep it locked at the same time. The driver just needs to enter the code. Works well as sometimes the truck can be near a highway, busy road etc. Also handy when going golfing, no need to carry the fob.

I use it when hunting (don't have to carry keys around) and also very useful when going to the gym.

I have it on my F150 and my Sport Trac before that. I've locked myself out of my truck on multiple occasions, saved my butt. When we go camping and hiking I generally don't carry my phone or key fob, so again, the keypad has some value for me at least.

I have one on my 2025, It is not painted to match the truck, it is flat black, it looks OK.
That's exactly what I'm looking for, the one my dealership brought up on their parts screen showed it as white or gray and needing paint.
Do you happen to have the part number by chance?

@YogiMike. I actually thought that Ford Pass APP would NOT allow you to lock keys in the truck if the keys are IN THE CAR, but it Does! (I just tested it). I did not know this - THANK YOU! The only advantage to having keypad is if you are leaving the vehicle for someone else to use and they do not have access to the app and you are not available to remotely unlock. For those limited situations, I would probably not get the keypad going forward. My wife just got the Bronco Heritage - it does not have the keypad option and I am glad I know we have the ability to this w/ her car.

Ford Pass app requires cell service and app service both of which aren't 100% reliable. Nice to have a keypad tucked away in the fuel door as a backup and in situations where carrying a phone is not convenient.
