Hello everyone. First post here and looking for some advice. I own a 2024 Ranger XLT FX4. Currently running stock everything and 255/70r17 tires. Would like to get a bit more taller tires (32” and possibly 33”). Don’t do any serious off-roading but I do get on the Forest roads and some light trails. Not really interested in investing in a suspension lift. I am looking to level it though. What everyone’s thoughts on the Rough Country ranger leveling kit (or advice on any other leveling kit.). Would a 2.5” leveling job allow 32” or even 33” tires to be put on the truck without any other mods? They would be 255 or 265 for width. Thanks in advance for any advice, thoughts, and ideas.

Here is a video comparing stock to a 2.5 level kit on 33s. I found it helpful.

I am personally in the middle of installing Rough Country level kit and 32s. I have a Lariat with 18" rims. Im going 275/65R18 for a 32inch tire.
pics later.

I installed the super lift leveling kit and was able to fit 285 70r 17s. Only had to trim an inch felt on the wheel liner

I'm in the exact same boat you are. Some things I have gathered from research on this forum and more. Feel free to chime in forum peeps. Thanks!

1) 2" level will fit 285/70r17 with new wheels - be mindful of offset - somewhere in the range of +35 to 0 (0 will be a lot of poke) - seems most like the +35
2) 2.5 level will be the same but a little taller. However, there may be some squat if you pull a trailer thus your level is kinda gone so to speak
3) be sure to adjust your headlights
4) be sure to get an alignment - very important
5) I'm still unsure about the intrusion bars (crash bars) if they will need to be replaced - help???
6) the 2 youtube vids posted on the thread show a good comparison as well as offset difference
7) back to the level kit itself. seems most don't like the rough country due to the plastic nature of the build. popular choice is fordrangerlifts due to metal spacers
8) might be some rub at full lock, so possibly very little trimming of the liner

I'm by no means an expert or nor have I done ANY of this. this is just info, as mentioned, that i gained from research and thought it might help you to have in one spot. I'm sure there is more and others may input as well. it's really hard to make decisions when there are sooooo many options.

I dont think the Rough Country level kit is a problem. Maybe if you are doing serious off road EVERY day. But to me this is important:

Everything Freedom Beast said is about right except crash bars are fine in place. Be warned though the shock bolts may need to be pressed out. Mine couldn't even be taken out with an air hammer. Adds a little time to install. Luckily I have another vehicle to drive them down to the machine shop.
