Hi Evan,
Yep...here in Green Valley, I have been on my 3 mile route, walking at a very brisk pace and stopped by Border Patrol. I found out long ago to not fun with these great folks...just explain your situation of walking for exercise. I also thank them for their service. They have a very...
Hi Bob,
Little known secret of these aerials is that if you cut off the top 6" of the aerials and grind a point on them, they make great metal scribes. I have several in my tool box... they work well and so far have never had to be sharpened...

Hi Bob,
Yep! do not see any aesthetic problem... Much better that the fender aerials of the past.
Brief Back story,
Had an engineer working for me that aspired to the design and release (release being to put in to production) of the little ball on the top of the aerial. In other words...he...

Hi Folks,
My add to Rob's starter is for Ford to get the Sync ready for prime time and to not have such an unstable and unreliable platform that takes hours to download updates that should be done in minutes...particularly to have to idle the motor for the time....Really stinks. I almost never...
Hi Dropper,
Sad...Shipping damage was always a problem as the vehicle shippers, rail, Haulaway truck or both was always problematic. The folks that load the trucks do not care a fig about treating the trucks as precious cargo... I used to see trucks on the rail cars that had shot gun blast...
Hi Rob,
Exactly why I ordered the Kirkland Oil....I only have 1000 miles on the truck, being purchased in March... Our vehicles here in GV are mostly hanger queens...

Hi Folks,
I do not know about a book...how about I post a 5 page article that I wrote for the Saleen Club of America, that chronicles the start of the SCCA Race Truck Challenge, a series I inadvertently started. Would that be a start? I believe there is a Forum for Non 5G stuff and might be...
Hi Scott,
I raced SCCA for 12 years. I had a Formula SuperVee back in the old air cooled Supervee days. Top speed was about 160mph..
I then became Chief of Flagging and Communications and ran race control at the Detroit Grand Prix for many years while downtown and also at Belle Isle. Indy...
Hi Eric,
Yep. I built 4 of these racetrucks at Livernois Engineering. Gave three to the Saleen team and kept one back for development work on making the trucks go faster. Ford won the manufacturers championship the last year of the series. The suspension and rollcage of each truck was my...
Hi Rob,
I am so besides myself on this. Would love to do this, but right now with all going on in the medical side of the equation of life, on the back burner...I am just blown over what is going on 30 years after we did this program...you just never know where things are headed when you do...
Chuck Dudly likes to draw Saleen race cars and did this update. I think this is really cool!

Hi Floyd,
If Ford in all its testing saw a degrading carboning issue, it would have been addressed. I am of the opinion that a catch can is a solution seeking a problem...
