Thank you for sharing your impressions so extensively Gary, really appreciate it! I do agree, it wonāt be quite an F150 in comfort due to just sheer cab volume, thatās just the nature of choosing mid sized vs. full size. But comfort is my primary factor in choosing next. I think my challenge...
Iāve often wondered the same question. If they canāt produce enough Broncos why put more product into that plant, even if itās on the same platform? But of course the answers are well thought out here. If they could make enough Rangers to amortize the capital cost of another plant, theyād be...
Iād love to hear more about your experiences coming ādownā (at least in size) from an F150 to a Ranger. I loved my 2007 F150 & never shouldāve sold it as that started me on a downward stretch of used cars & short term new. Iām hoping a midsize will keep the good of that old F150 in a package...
Haha with it being the wrong side Iād be more worried about adjusting to the driving than thinking a bout how I felt in the car! :D. Youāre probably right though, I mean an 8 way seat is 6 more adjustments than Iāve had in some cars! :D.
If your experience turns out to be what mine is when I get a chance to try a 6G that would be about perfect then. Iām a little shorter & a little fatter at 6ā 230# (gotta work on that this summer). Maybe a dumb question with seating adjustments though, is it one where the front & back of the...
Comfort was something I didnāt necessarily consider in my Bronco Sport and should have thought much more about. I too wish to do longer road trips but this is not the car for that. Itās more than maneuverable around the city which was my primary consideration and certainly looks cool enough...
Yes, after having fleet Fords forever I bought a 2007 F150 for myself, the first one I or anyone in the extended family had bought, & drove it all over the western half of the continent for 10 years. Bullet. Proof. Led me to a couple nice vintage Fords too, a 89 mustang & 93 explorer, and all...
Are some of these sites written by bots? Not quite so bad for the Ranger which of course has a ton of ārealā info out there to create content off of, but if you try searching for any particular make/model & go beyond the first page of google that youāve already read the links on, you start...
Iām glad Iām not the only one. Normally my predisposition would be just to email the Ford sales dude & go with a Ranger, but I plan to study all 3 main competitors (plus the Ridgeline) quite carefully. Iām not excluding a Ranger from my shopping but neither will it be the automatic choice...
Not to get too far off the thread topic, but having experienced the Bronco Sport, I have to agree with you. Iām probably a market segment of one in N.America, but I do think thereās a market for the Everest, even if for people that donāt need to go as big as an expedition. Ford probably thinks...
EDIT: & now I read the title is for the Raptor. Oops. I canāt read. The Raptor though is more than I need for a daily so not sure what I might wish for with that.

Platinum. I want it all without moving up in size to...
Canāt argue with you. Their designs seem to be a little aggro nowadays in perhaps an over reaction to blander designs. Whereas to me you can look at what weāve seen of the Ranger & Canyon already & see a nice classy but not bland design. 2024 will be an interesting year. I wonder if Honda has...
Thanks for posting this. The midsize market really has some interesting stuff happening! I canāt be the only person interested in checking out the 6G Ranger, comparing it to a new Canyon & new Tacoma.
Thanks for an awesome idea! Iād never have thought of this but must try it now if ever I get a difficult issue. A little kindness goes a long way with your dealer to be sure.
Any ideas if this might be offered for N.America? Itād be nice to have a premium option without having to step up in size to an F-150. Iād think itās a possibility given GMC is planning a Canyon Denali but who knows what Fordās production constraints might be.
