First mods: Bedrug and window tint on Carbonized Gray Ranger Raptor

Those look like Giant Airedale’s to me. I’m on my second one. My first was 108# and the one I have now is only 80#. The only issue I wish I could solve with the dogs is there fear of storms, fireworks and gunfire.

Oh yeah, I like my Ranger Raptor too, but I like my dogs better

I see you have a 2020 ST. How has the trans held up for you? We have some pretty severe hard shifting, specifically when down shifting. Of course, it started happening after the warranty. We are considering taking it in and seeing if anything can be done to prolong the life of it.

My previous ride was a 2020 ST. Turned out to be a lemon. Ford bought it back after just 6 months of ownership. I was riding it out for an upgrade on the platform but after following the forums the last 4 years it seems the quality didn't seem to improve enough for me to take the risk again. Then they announced the Ranger Raptor in the US and I was sold. My ST had no trans issues though like most people were facing that had problems with it. It was all electronic and battery related.

Yes, I ordered the Ford branded Embark LS tonneau cover. I think it is just a rebranded Retrax Pro XR? I am also planning on the Kuat Ibex rack to go on top of that.

did you already install it?
does it fit correctly on siderail tailgate, without gap on tailgate and no leak?
can you share your opinion?

Hey everyone! New member from West Michigan. Took delivery this past Friday. Installed the Bedrug and had the driver/passenger windows tinted to match the factory tint on the rear windows. Loving this truck so far!

Tint is 20% as that seemed to match the best.

Hey Sean, Where did you get the Bedrug from? Realtruck told me today that Bedrug doesn't have a model for the 2024 Ranger Raptor yet. Do you have the model number of the one you ordered? It looks like it fits great! Thank you very much!

Here is the link... BedRug Classic Bed Liner | RealTruck

It fit perfectly and has the templates for all of the cutouts for the Ranger Raptor.

The bed dimensions are the same between the normal ranger and the Raptor as far as I can tell.

It arrived and it appears that they shipped the incorrect canister. It is for a truck with a bed at least 6 inches wider. The instructions appear to be for an F150.

My dealer is going to look into it on Monday.

However, having done a little more research, it seems it isn't going to fit flush like it should. I am now exploring other options.

Just received these two from RealTruck. They are made for the 24+ Ranger and fit great. I ordered this combo because I did not want the side bedrugs. I had to trim about an inch off the tailgate mat because I’m also running a tailgate seal kit. Took a lighter to the cut side and the fibers melted together you can’t even tell it was cut. Added some additional heavy duty, outdoor hook and loop for a very secure fit. I have a spray in liner so I used some adhesion promoter too. Not going anywhere.

Just installed amber lights to my ranger raptor. I connected them to aux 1. I just leave the switch on so they are on when I start the truck.

What tailgate seal kit did you use if you don't mind me asking. How did it workout as far as dust or water?
