Changes to 2024 Ranger Tech Specs (U.S.) since launch -- Minimum Running Ground Clearance + Departure Angle

The Ranger Tech Specs PDF posted on the Ford Media website has been changed since May 10. The most notable change from my perspective was:

Minimum Running Ground Clearance -- the 4x2 dropping from 9.3" to 8.8" and the 4x4 dropping from 10.4" to 9.3".

Departure Angle -- 0.7 degrees drop on departure angle for the 4x2, while approach and ramp over for the 4x4 increase by 1 and 1.2 degrees respectively.

There are also tweaks in some interior dimensions and some changes in the Technology section.
The two versions with the dates I downloaded contained in the file name attached below.

So the rear legroom didn’t change after all. Bummer. I know it’s the same cab and I was perplexed how they managed to eek out more space. I just figured that they managed to make more efficient use of the space with newer interior construction. Guess that was naïve of me. Shoulda looked at the specs and reviews of the global model before I made any assumptions.

What about the cupholders?
Can you place a Powerade or Gatorade bottle in them?
If not then needs to come with 'free' Hole Saw to renovate....

It's basically the same cab shell. I don't think space has changed much at all. Too bad they made a mistake.

The wheelbase is two inches longer but overall length is 0.2" shorter.

The spec shows max towing capacity but doesn't say if that is the 2.3 or 2.7. I have to imagine it is for the larger engine?

No, the 2.3 can tow 7,500 #.
