I made a new one for my RANGER. 36” black plastic 3/4” rod from Amazon ($14), bike handle bar grip, Amazon ($8 pr) , black hook LOWES ($7.50) held on with a couple insulated aluminum cable clamps off the shelf. I may have to move it when I get my bedcover.

I had an old axe handle with a hook on it for this same reason!

Cool, but those aluminum Adel clamps are not nearly strong enough to support the weight, tho they are fine when fully closed. This sort or mount would work a lot better, and your tool won’t bounce out when you hit your first speed bump.

Creative DIY. I bought a telescopic hook with a magnetic mount that is supposed to secure it even with a spray-in bedliner.
Works pretty good but found out recently that with enough bumps, it can fall off and then just lays in the bed.

Awesome , thanks! I just ordered a set. Hopefully I can figure out a way to mount them w/o drilling. They say they can be mounted using 3m double sided tape.

Looks like that mount would work great to hold a broom. Wood chips after hauling wood kinda suck.

Look under the side rails. You'll find 4 holes on each side with a captured nut behind them. I belive it's 6mm 1.5 thread off the top of my head. I mounted some d-rings to mine and use with velcro straps to mount whatever I need. No drilling needed.

So, thanks for the idea, mini quick fists secured where the scrivets were. 1/4 x 20 bolt, through the fists, through the plastic cap and metal bed rail secured by a washer and nut. ( although it’s been around 6 weeks and the rod never popped out of the original aluminum clamps.

A Home Depot Hoe would work as well. If you don’t want the entire blade, just cut away what don’t need.
