I picked up a set of Jumbo Heavy Duty tie rods from RC for pur Ranger Raptor.
They are way bigger and stronger than the puny OEM tie rods that snap.
RC unit are forged steel.
These have grease zerk fittings at both ends! And a quality boot. The best part is even though these were designed for the bronco, They are about an inch and a half longer on the threaded area, Giving them more adjustment, So they are an ideal fit for the ranger raptor.

You can see from the pictures, the size difference is substantial.

This only solves part of a problem, though. Because the steering rack itself is also a weak link after you fix the tyrod problem... The ford performance 3.0 rack is a definite upgrade, and the 74weld rack is the best one to buy....it's billet and the severe duty, (for jumbo tires) and heavy off roading!

When will you be installing these on your Ranger?
Would definitely like to know if they are direct bolt on
The site says it doesn’t fit the Ranger

RIP your steering rack (more expensive) if you ever do get the truck in a situation the oem rods would fail.
Nope, I've upgraded to the 74WELD rack and will be doing same thing to ranger raptor ...

Tomorrow...the ranger Raptors are so new nobody has tried it yet except me...even RC don't know it fits...I already spoke with them. All I needed was to confirm lengths, I already confirmed taper is the same at the knuckles.

Honestly as a Jeep guy that can't bring myself to put Rough Country parts on my rust bucket, I wouldn't even look at them on the Ranger.

Good parts for mall crawling but never holds up off road.

Normally I do the same ...I avoided RC parts like the plague! But, I'm gonna give them a try because they are Forged and seem well made, Dorman also offers a HD tie rod, however I'm not sure they are long enough for the extended width of the ranger raptor.

Yeah unless you upgrade your steering rack, I would stay away from these as mentioned. The OEM tie rods act as the sacrificial lamb and will save the weak OEM steering rack. I see these as a package with a beefier rack.

Is the OEM steering rack really that weak? I can't remember where, but I've seen a few AUS Raptor owners saying they have been abusing their trucks with collars, 35s, and loaded with gear and they've never had issues.
Yeah they just won the toughest top aussie offroad race in the production class in a stock Ranger Raptor. They had no steering rack issues at all. I hate to modify something design by people who know the truck inside and out, until its proven something is really a problem.

In comparison to those beefier tie rods it is.

Honestly that track is NOTHING compared compared to baja or KOH. you can disagree all you like but the problem still exists across all ford platforms. literally hundreds of busted tie rods on F150s, broncos, bronco Raptors, and severe rack damage as well.

a quick seach on you tube shows a long list of carnage to all these models. It is a BIG issue.
