Just got my tonneau which has drain tubes (they sent me the wrong cover. It’s more expensive than the one I ordered and it flips so I’m gonna keep it, but the one I ordered sat above the rail and didn’t need drain tubes. This one sits flush and requires them).

There are no pre-existing holes in our beds to route these tubes through. Where did you guys put them, and how did you seal the cut metal? I really didn’t want to drill into factory sealed metal.

There are 2 plastic cover at the front of the bed. That is what they are for just have to drill a hole through them.

That worked. They sprayed the factory liner over those so didn’t realize they were hard plastic I could drill through - thought they were rubber.

Thanks again CactusGreyFX4 - appreciate it 👍

A little hard to see in this pic. I ran the drain tube into already existing holes near the top of the side wall.

Good idea. I didn't even notice those holes. A bit neater and less chance of getting caught in something. I put my drain out the bottom holes.

I also ran mine there. I had hopef that was an acceptable spot. I couldn't see where it led to from under the truck because of the wheel well cover.

I did the same but used a 90-degree plastic elbow so the hose would not kink.
