Well, glad I am not the only one. I was blaming my phone and then my truck so guess that answers that. This is a very frustrating issue that Ford needs to work on.

This happens to me sometimes. I use the stereo to disconnect from CarPlay and then reconnect. It pretty much always works then.It has happened twice now, I get in the truck, CarPlay connects and I can see messages, maps etc. But, I have no volume for any sound source, ITunes or podcasts or phone calls. I turn everything off and still nothing. I can’t even get sound on my iPhone. Only thing that works is to power down my phone and then re-power it. Then it works like it should. Any ideas what is happening?
