This color matching was in no way intentional, my wife's 2022 Acura RDX PMC Edition in Long Beach Blue, and my new 2024 RR in Velocity Blue Metallic.
The RDX Performance Manufacturing Center color (same as used on the Acura NSX) is jaw dropping when clean, it transforms in sunlight and is really eye popping, close to turquoise. Inside the two colors are much closer in appearance. When I located a couple of Raptors, she said "Get the blue one!" It is a real change for me, all my past vehicles have been in white or beige tones.
Of course, this could be a reason too, the local Maverik stations have 91 octane alcohol free:
