Rev Hard Folding Cover

So every photo I’ve seen of them on here shows unsightly ends hanging off the front and rear edges. If it wasn’t for the $420 in rewards points and 20% off coupon I’d probably not even consider it and get the Bak MX4, but……….here I am. My question for those with this cover is can you not trim those ends to make it look cleaner? Looks like quick work with a razor blade and a ruler unless there is something I’m not seeing?
