How does that trim panel come off? I’m hesitant to just start prying on it.

My eyes have a problem and are overly sensitive when too many reflections hit them. And while that piano black trim is lovely, it reflects the sun like crazy when I’m driving. I want to pull it off and wrap it with some matte black vinyl to tone it down.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Take what you can out of it.

He takes way to much off. No need to remove console. There is a trim panel that's on top of that console where it meets dash just remove that there's two screws to remove then you have access to the two lower screws on the display unit.

I have the same problem. I covered the top edges with this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00N3OMJHC?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1
Kind of a pain to make it look ok but it's better than the glare
