I can’t figure out why my RR does this. Driving with the intelligent cruise set at 33 turn a corner and the truck now sets the cruise at 53 and speeds up. Speed limit sign says 40. What gives?

Still disappointed that Ford decided to make the steering wheel controls totally different than my F150 was. What a terrible decision. Why it couldn’t be the same in all Ford vehicles is beyond me.

It is the speed sign recognition with the cruise. Turn that off or make the difference allowed =0. That is done on the infotainment screen under adaptive cruise control - speed sign recognition. It is seeing the signs and changing the speed based on signs. It may also see signs from cross streets or adjacent highway. This happened to me too. Freaked me out.
