Top 5 Things I HATE About My Ford Ranger Raptor

I’m not a real big fan of videos like this but there a few things I can pick at. Overall this truck is still the best mid size I’ve seen when it comes to offroad.

I feel like you must be doing something very wrong to only be getting 14 mpg in cruise on the freeway. I'd expect a little worse mpg with 35s vs 33s, but that seems like a lot. I get 19-20 mpg in cruise under same conditions now that my engine is broken in. At my worst, I was seeing around 17.5 mpg on the freeway.

I like your Method wheels. What is the offset you got on them?

I’m fairly confident it’s because I’m heavy footed.

First, you have some great builds at the shop. Big fan of portals for ground clearance. In regards to the steering on the RR, how do you feel about the FMI tie rod "reinforcements" vs full billet tie rods, when in my case, living in the North East, I am more rock crawling (20%) and his speed lane changing daily (80%) vs dessert running and jumps. Additionally, the control arm modifications you made, was the reinforcement more for "jumping" and not needed for crawling...

I plan on going 35s and perch collars for now anyways...

Yes I think the reinforcements may get you by with 35" tires, but that will all depend on how you drive it when off-road. If you're smart and careful with your lines, you'll probably be fine. The Solo Motorsports reinforcements are for very aggressive off-roading like you mentioned. I wouldn't worry too much about needing them.
