Ok, this is when conference call "surfing" pays off. Yes build this Ford USA and someone can buy my used Ranger Raptor when this shows up!

I doubt this will come to USA - will defeat the reason for the Ford Maverick....

I have one! Wasn’t too sure when I bought it but my Ram 1500 Stinger Sport was getting on a bit and needed something reliable, Ram had been completely reliable over 160k other than a wheel bearing and usual warped manifolds(headers) so very hard act to follow. Tried a Grenadier first, least said soonest mended! It’s been a mixed bag so far with the MS RT, all the nanny state electrical gizmos had to go, I know how to drive and don’t need to wrestle with the steering wheel or have my neck put out when the brakes apply for no good reason, that at at least has now been sorted. performance is nothing to write home about out of the box, why build a Mustang or ‘Vette then put a 2 litre Pinto engine in it, way underpowered, gutless for towing, 3tonnes and it is labouring! Thinking about boosting it but my concern is that it the engine is the old Peugeot, Citroen Lion engine, originally 2.7 litre and about 150bhp, this has been pushed to 240 in the MS RT (Motor Sport Road Tune) and is up to 300 in Landrover Jaguar trim where it breaks cranks on the rear main, the bearing area is no greater than a 4 cylinder 1300 motor, not surprising that things break! So 240 looks to be about as far as it is safe to go! Ford seem incapable of building a decent diesel engine themselves. To put this truck right it needs 350+bhp as the road manners, tyres and brakes certainly could handle it ally block 350 V8? Fuel economy couldn’t be much worse!
So for 8k in 3 months, let’s see what the future brings?

I just saw a lowered 150 Tremor at the gas station over the weekend. Not sure why anyone would get the off-road package and lower it? Maybe for the locking diff? But it actually looked pretty sick.
