There seem to be just two choices I have found for a Power step for the Ranger Pickup. AMP Research and Aries. Rockslide Engineering makes a Great Powered Step for the Bronco but not for the Ranger.

Has anyone installed the Aries Power Steps? Pros and Cons if any?

I’m interested in hearing too and get their experience so far. My concern with the power steps is that they could be easily damaged while going off road.

I contacted Rockslide Engineering to ask if they were going to develop a set for the Ranger Raptor. Those sliders look pretty solid. They said it was a no go at this time. I would have thought adapting the Bronco step to the Ranger wouldn’t take much. Maybe once more Ranger Raptors are in the wild then they’ll bring a set to market.

The RockSlide Engineering slider / steps would be ideal for the Ranger as well. They provide Excellent protection and have a drop down step that is actually functional unlike the factory step that sits too high and then you have to duck your head and shoulders to get in the vehicle.

I agree, it should not be too hard for them to make mounting brackets for the Ranger and then mount the same Slider / Step. If I had a set waiting to mount on a Bronco, I would test fit on the Ranger first.

Be careful, a guy on here took his Raptor steps off and the rocks from the tires tore his paint off. They are functional rock guards and that's about it.

I would also want the rock protection that fixed side steps provide. I hope Westcott Designs will come up with something for the ranger.
