Anyone else’s do this yet? Was driving normal when the truck decided it wanted to start cycling between drive modes / 2-4 wheel drives.

Yes! Mine has done it twice since May. I can't duplicate it, so I never brought it in, but it has done it. It wanted to switch to Rock Crawl while I was driving 75 mph.
An error just came on the screen and told me to come to a stop first.

Hello, I would like to see if I can assist you with your drive mode concerns. Could you please send us a message with your VIN and mileage?

Yep, mine started cycling between normal, sport, haul, baja, etc. once while I was driving a couple of weeks ago. I hadn't touched the knob/dial for at least a couple of weeks prior to that so it definitely wasn't stuck. It is the only time it has happened (so far), and I am hoping it remains the only time I experience it.

It happened to me twice as well (I now have 24,000 km) and I have the diesel version for Europe, of course. Both times it happened (fortunately) when I was stopped, and it also automatically engaged the rear differential (the diesel version doesn’t have a front differential). A very bad situation!!!

There was another thread on here mentioning the same behavior. I've also experienced it a couple times when nothing has been near the dial nor was it used recently. On the other hand, I also know I've bumped it a few times when putting my drink back in the cup holder.

Just adding to this since I missed this thread and started my own about it - I've had this happen twice now while driving, both times the truck changes into sand mode from my standard sport/2h daily driving mode which engages the change to 4h.

I know for a fact nothing was touching the dial at the time this happened. I believe there may be some kind of interference to the dial when this happens as my charging cables and phone are typically near it.

Another interesting thing happening when this occurs is even if you stop and switch out of this mode, restarting the truck prompts you to re-enter sand mode.

Personally I think an update to the system should prompt a dialogue box and require an "OK" selection before moving into a mode while driving. It's alarming when this happens and not intended.
