My Ranger just delivered

Ordered my first truck, ordered in middle of August , a Hot Pepper Red 2.7 Lariat FX4. Dealership notified me today that it has arrived. I just left town for work and won't be able to pick it up for another 2-3 weeks. Only thing I did not order with it was a Torneau cover....any suggestions on a cover, hard soft..etc. Still undecided if i like the rims and tires currently on the Ranger or switch them out for all black tire and rim, like that are on the ranger next to mine... Thoughts anyone?

Looks good with the factory rims. Black on black is a fad that should have died out about a decade ago.

Love it! The hot chili red looks amazing in the light

I’d like to ditch my lariat rims. Was my only drawback in the design that really made me not like it. I would like to see a better picture of what the 2025 Ranger black edition wheels look like. I really like the RTR rim, but I’m not sure what a 18x9 rim would look like on the new Ranger

I am in the "co-cover" gang. Mine will be in the garage 90% of the time and I dont carry a ton of stuff in the truck in general. All our luggage is water-proof and or we have water proof bags for certain things.

What colour did you order? I liked this Red even though in certain light it has some orange tint!

Yeah I actually had a blue 2024 ordered because I don't like the orange look. I had to change to a 2025 because they closed out 2024s. They offer my favorite Ruby Red for 2025 so that's what I ordered.

Nice truck! Bummer you can't get it for a while. I have a Truxedo hard roll up tonneau and it's pretty good so far.

I don't like the Lariat wheels myself, how they look or the fact that they are 18". I'd switch to bronze wheels on that color.

My version of your truck is 2 weeks old now. Here it is with a set of Bronco take-offs with General Grabbers in 255/70/17.

As for a tonneau cover, I chose the Bak Revolver X4S. This has the looks of a traditional tonneau cover, but the security and strength of all aluminum slats. You cannot cut through it and it will support up to 400lbs when evenly distributed.

Advantages over a hard folding cover:
- Easier to roll than to fold - especially when snow/ice covered.
- When all the way open - the roll is only about 9” high. You can still see out the back window.
- If you want to remove the roll, it is easier to manage - smaller in size and lighter.
- If you want a rack, the rolls smaller form factor will fit beneath cross bars.

If you looking for a cover try Bison Covers. They Canadian and free shipping. I got the hard one for $600 installed. I a hour away from them so let them install it.
