I have read of issues with BMW n GM selling your driving data and it seems insurance companies get this. I read one entry of possible issue with ford and Tech package especially. Any details on this. I want a XLT, this makes me almost lean toward XL, less electronics.

As I understand it, you have the option of opting out of the connected features, but then a bunch of the stuff that makes the tech package worthwhile doesn't work.

I did that.. every time I start the truck it tells it cannot connect wireless

It's probably a setting on your phone not allowing it to connect automatically.

there are options in the center stack menu to turn off sharing

here's what the manual shows

when i first picked up my rr there was a menu option that specifically said share insurance data. i had disabled it. a week or so later i noticed that there was an update, my setting choices changed (insurance data was no longer listed) and the settings that were there defaulted to on. i've since disabled auto updates

Have you driven it at night much at this point? Wondering how well the led reflector headlamps work. I love the led projectors I have in my '19 Lariat. The previous gen halogens in the XLT were terrible, which is part of the reason why I went with the Lariat.

Damn near daylight? I honestly haven't had an instance where I purposely said to myself, 'I need to turn on my high beams'.

I turned off the auto brights because it was so distracting, and haven't felt the need to turn it back on.

Lastly, I would love to see pics. I just got confirmation on my ranger will be built in July. Has the 2.7 and can't wait.

All weather rubber mats.

USB, USB C, and 120v plug for rear passengers.

Side steps for the bed.

Step rail for the cab.

Power folding side mirrors. There's a button to manually fold them in whenever you want, and they automatically fold in when the truck is locked.

12v cigarette plug and 120v plug in the bed under spring loaded doors.

Cargo management rails. Pull center tab of the cleat to unlock and they slide back and forth in the track, locking in every 6 inches or so to the holes in the back of the track. Cleats are removable by sliding them to a cutout in the rail where they lift out of the track.

They're the factory 17" painted aluminum rims, wearing Wrangler Territory AT 255/70r17.

They came standard with the packages I bought, not sure which one.

A few times a week I have to restart my phone to get the truck to connect to Android Auto. It always connects right away to calling and audio over bluetooth using the trucks UI instead of the Android Auto UI.

I will order a '24 model soon. Can you confirm or deny that the Technology Package has all the features of Co-Pilot 360? Because when I go to the Build & Price, it tells me that in order to add
the Tech Pack, I have to remove Co-Pilot. It tells me the same when I try to add the Advanced Towing Pack.

You are only removing the price, not the features. The Co-Pilot360 features are included with the Advanced Tech + Tow package.

Android Auto suddenly decided to just completely stop working. The phone is obviously looking for a connection, and instantly connects to basic bluetooth.

The truck absolutely will not connect to Android Auto via bluetooth or USB cable.

I love gadgets and useful technology. It's been fun getting to know all the bells and whistles that are part of the advanced towing + technology package. I also opted for 4x4 sport (but not the FX4), and locking rear diff.

ESPECIALLY the adaptive cruise control, which is pretty much the entire reason I spec-ed this thing out the way I did. The lane keeping is good, but not perfect, but being able to go 90% hands free (water bottle hack FTW) in stop and go traffic is AMAZABALLS. I knew it would be the case, but I didn't know to what degree it would reduce stress and concentration fatigue letting the truck do most of the work.

My legs are messed up because... army, so one of the really surprisingly great features is the brake hold when waiting in a long line. I can rest my foot and ankle between moving, it's fantastic.

Other options I can speak to are the keyless entry (100% mandatory on any Ford vehicle), and low profile window deflectors.

I'll be able to provide more info about the 'tray style' weather tec floor mats and cargo management rails once they're delivered and installed by the dealer.

If anybody has specific questions or wants pictures of anything before ordering, just ask.

nice truck! For the cargo management system rails - how or where do those mount into the bed? I have a Bakflip mx4 tonneau cover on mine that uses these holes. Doesn’t look like it’ll interfere with the cargo rail but want to confirm before purchasing
