My brother finally just picked up his 2024 Ranger Raptor and I liked it so much I went to order one yesterday and two Ford dealerships said Ford is no longer taking orders for the 2024 Ranger Raptor. The dealers just get what they get on an allocation. I am in the Dallas area. Are others hearing about this?

My guess is that Job 1 of the Raptors are finished and Job 2 will most likely be a 2025 model. You'll probably be able to order it within the next month for a September-ish delivery. This is pure speculation on my part, but based on the past year, it's an educated guess.

I understand scheduling models, but with the high demand for raptor, I don’t know why they dident make so much more

False. Ford is still taking orders. However dealers are only given a certain number of Raptor allocations. If the dealerships you spoke to already used their allocations and they don’t have any left, then they’re doing you a favor in not accepting your order because it wouldn’t get scheduled. Find a dealer with a Raptor allocation to place your order or find one on a lot.

Ranger Raptors were allocated out and each dealership received a certain amount depending on their size and the business size.

For an example: We are a smaller dealership compared to others and received one. Although we have alot of business, Ford ultimately picks the amount they allocated.

I placed an order on 3/25 for a Raptor at my local dealer, who had already used their one allocation. I got my build date for 6/10, which surprised the dealer, but goes to show the dealers don't really know if they can get one or not. I'd go to a dealer that’s willing to take a chance

I did daily searches on autotrader.com and cars.com setting the "Within" to "all miles" then select the Raptor trim. You get something like this:

I would say if you're wanting one sooner than later it will likely take some digging around the ole interwebs to find one in a spec you like that already is in bound or already on a lot somewhere.

I searched nationwide for mine. Found it inbound to dealer about 4 hours away from me.
I had used a similar approach with a similar result when I finally got my Bronco bought last year.
Except it was found over 1000 miles away and cost an extra $1200 to have shipped to me.

There will likely be some sort of ADM $5,000-10,000 seem pretty common. If you shop long enough you might be able to find one or strike a deal at MSRP if you are crazy lucky and if your pretty lucky you can work deal at around $2K over which is what I did, mine was priced to me at 5K over, I bought it for $2K over when the haggling was done.

Seems these high demand lower production mode vehicles can be very aggravating to try and order and wait and eternity. A lot of people on here have been waiting close to year to get theirs some have been waiting a year and still don't know when they will be getting theirs.

Well worth a few extra bucks to skip the whole aggravating ordering process IMO.
Not that I condone ADM's nor would I ever pay any of the really high dollar (10-50k) sort of ADMs.
I just find it well worth the $2K ADM I paid to skip all the BS.

Be warned if you start a new order for Job 2 you will likely have a long wait. You might consider asking your dealer to source one if they can and go ( travel to pick it up off the lot should one be available)

Two dealers near me have Raptors on the lot. One dealership has theirs listed for $75k and the other for $79k 😆

We have a dealer locally that has one on the lot with an ADM of 9k. He dropped it to 5k and is thinking about my 1k offer. I think he’s biding his time but I’m willing to wait and see if he bites.

My wife picked hers up from our dealer April 10th. They let me order one for me May 3rd and I got my email telling me I will be getting the next step in an email within 45 days. I have a good rapport with my dealer. Nothing was mentioned about an allotment. That is their fourth one that got ordered so far.....

You might be right on Job 2. I have not seen any news of them announcing they will continue to build them for this year.
