Hi all! I took delivery middle of May, since then, I have completed a few modifications for my use case.

1. Xpel PPF applied to entire truck
Ford Ranger Icemilkteaa’s Shelter Green 2024 Ranger Raptor Build IMG_2413

2. Installed GM 4x4 trailing arm and module skid plate + J Braces

3. Installed ARB Compressor mount under the bed (ford has to fix some wiring under warranty for the aux swith
Ford Ranger Icemilkteaa’s Shelter Green 2024 Ranger Raptor Build IMG_2515
(

4. Installed Pirate Camp Co skid plates, slight (two screw holes are missing bolts but it doesn’t seem to be an issue. Also needed to drill one more hole for the transmission skid plate, I guess US models are quite different)

Ford Ranger Icemilkteaa’s Shelter Green 2024 Ranger Raptor Build IMG_2581

5. Installed Retrax One XR Tonneau
Ford Ranger Icemilkteaa’s Shelter Green 2024 Ranger Raptor Build IMG_2556

Do you find that the Xpel helps with general dirt rejection on its own? I've had a few cars with ceramic coats and they were a breeze to clean and I've heard that some PPFs have a similar effect. I've already got a bottle of ceramic coat on the shelf for my current vehicle that I never used, so I may be doing both once my SG RRaptor get delivered.

Love the bed rack - had a setup like that on my Taco and didn't know there were already options for the RR...nice! Good luck, looking incredible thus far.

Love the rack and camping setup. Did you install the bed reinforcement J Rails? It's my understanding we'll need to in order to support weight on the bed rails.

yes, the PPF is just as good as the ceramic coating on my other cars! The added benefit is protection from pinstriping while on trails!

Yep! Bed rails were installed! Hardest part was drilling out the rivet holding in the bed liner, overall it went pretty easily

Mind me asking how much $$ on the PPF? I want to get on my new RR when it comes in but have no idea on how much something like this "normally" costs. You did every panel... roof? Awesome looking truck! Can not wait to get mine!

I did do every panel, but I got a hookup from a friend of a friend and paid 5k. Usually anywhere from 8-10 is what I would expect. It’s also cheaper to do when new since everything is clean and there’s no imperfections yet.

With good ppf, you don’t need ceramic. My xpel works as well as most ceramic
This will be my fourth Xpel adventure, I just prefer the additional ease of cleaning, especially during love bug season which is right around the corner.

Nice build so far. Can't wait to see more. I went with the tonneau cover and low profile rack before with my tacoma but what I didn't like about it for camping was I was limited on height of what I can pack in the bed.
