Now I have a 24 Lariat. Love it.

But I've grown to love the Raptor, especially the recent performance tune kit that makes it a real beast, which really appeals to me. I thought I didn't need the performance of the Raptor myself but I also had the dream of having a true performance "car". This is also the most cost-effective Raptor I can afford. I already like the feeling of sitting in the Ranger, and the Raptor will make it better overall.

My idea is to order a 25 model year next year. Maybe it will take 1-2 years? I want factory order. It's just right that Ford can also fix the small issues now, and I also hope that Ford can factory install the J bracket for future Ranger.

Any advance, thanks?

Do it. Enjoy life. If performance is what you want, the RR will deliver.

Did you pay for MSRP at your dealership?
Yes, but I went out of state. The only MSRP I found in state was Santa Maria and my order for Sedona in SD. It's probably going to be a 2025. It was promised at MSRP. Do you want to take over and build to your liking?

Good info. I will contact them and order one from Santa Maria or Sedona. How much is your deposit for ordering one? How long did you wait?

No deposit. I'm not keeping that order and its next in line once allocation is provided for 2025. I'm asking you do you want to take over this order and be #1 on Sedona list? I bought a RR already. You can also edit to your specs.

Well, I can promise you you won’t regret it! I had a 2019 Ranger Lariat FX4 Sport and really loved that truck. Then I added an AWE exhaust and the Ford factory tuner upgrade, and I REALLY loved it! I was buying a new truck, and the difference in buying a 2024 in the same configuration as my other truck, and buying the Raptor was just too close to not make the step up. Now that Ford has released the factory tune for the Raptor, I’m REALLY glad I bought that truck. About the only thing that I’m growing to dislike about the truck is the overly complicated exhaust system That has tripled the cost of replacing it with something that sounds a lot better.

You don’t go wrong either way! Quite honestly, if I had the choice between the Lariat with the tuner, or the Raptor without the tuner, I would probably stick with the Lariat. It was more responsive and easier to drive than the Raptor. I’m really looking forward to getting the tuner installed in the RR, and I’m hoping that it will make that truck as fun to drive as my Lariat was.
