I have been reading this forum for a while since i knew i was going to get a new ranger, just hadn't locked down when to get it. Well, turned out the day after christmas was the when.

I chose an xl with the stx package because i never used all the other add ons in my previous fully loaded full size so why pay for stuff i won't use.

Anyways, the wife and i are very very happy with this 2024 ranger. Its super comfortable and gets great gas mileage.

Here is the pics, i have already added lots of junk to it.

Day she came home and my other ranger is in the background. Its an 04 edge stepside with 5 speed and 3 liter v6.

I added steps, tonneau cover, hood deflector, window deflectors, husky liner mats, carhart seat saver covers, and a dash mat.

I already have almost 2k miles on it driving around texas. I live in corpus christi and its already been to leakey and san antonio.

My wife wore a new sweater and got fuzz all over the passenger seat in case you see any weird spots on it.


We had the same covers on our 2017 nissan titan and loved them. The seats were spotless when i traded that truck for wife's wrangler a few months back so i knew i wanted the same protection on this truck

Yes sir. I had previously lowered it about 6 inches to make it more comfortable. The edge models come from the factory with a 2 inch lift so it was a step to get in and out. Now its like a car to get in and out so i am thinking of making an autocross truck out of it. Its already got the 8.8 with 4.10 gearing. I put a motorsport finned diff cover and a hurst shift kit in it. I also added a power acoustik cp-71w radio when the factory radio died last year. Its got the exhaust coming out the side, under the step. I also upgraded the rear sway bar and have an explorer front sway bar to put on at the track. That explorer bar is to thick for daily driving and makes the ride kind of rough

i have some 8 inch wide rims to put on. I am hoping to find some 295/60/ 15s to put on to help with grip.

Nice! It’s reminding me of my Lightning I used to have and you’re not far! Was prepared to buy it off you.

My youngest son and i have been discussing a v8 swap since this v6 has 220k on it but i feel like its going to stay running forever since we have driven it back and forth to colorado springs a number of times since it rolled 200k with zero problems.
