Hello,

I haven't managed to break the 200 km/h mark yet.

Have any of you managed it?

Best regards

Martin

I’ve had mine a little past 240 km/h. Our speedo stops reading though at 130mph/209km/h.

Ummm....Here in Colorado, some guy on a YouTube video was doing over 100 on a street bike, weaving in and out of traffic on I-25 and they tracked him down from Texas, cited him based on his own volition .... Not sure what Georgia would do, but not sure I would post something like this. Just my opinion.

Mines photoshopped. I was doing 30mph. Truck is ecu limited anyway to like 107 I think 🤔 I read that somewhere. So it’s impossible.
Thanks for the heads up.

Sorry, I didn't mean to encourage anyone to do anything illegal. Here in Germany, it's legal to drive that fast.

unfortunately the usa governs all our stuff. my 04 ranger is governed at 93 or 95mph which is a huge bummer when the speed limit of the highway is 85. you cannot even keep up with traffic in hte fast lane with such a low governor setting. i know the 24 ranger is higher though because i already followed some people doing over 100mph from corpus christi to san antonio a few weeks back. i never hit a speed or fuel cut but i barely went over 100, maybe 105 to 107

while the engines capable of propelling us to high speeds, we have limitations on tire speeds, and brakes for slowing us down safely. Add in the lack of capabilities of drivers, then you understand why we have governed speeds.
I blew a rear tire on a rental years back doing 200kmh. I learned about speed ratings the hard way.
Now that I'm grown up, I tend to not do that anymore.

Absolutely, great post. When I do reach higher speeds, I'm at a closed circuit course running my W speed rated tires, & aftermarket brakes. Thank you & be safe out there.

I've done over 150mph a bunch in GA back in the day. Never got caught . . .

But the tires on my truck are speed limited to 100mph or so, not trying to pass that.
