RR shown in the picture. Thoughts on using a stick bolt location down low? I understand these are in a questionable location but I am not a serious off-roader. However I do appreciate a well lit road. Currently it is a driving/flood combo from my last ditch light set up. I may switch to a fog lens for a really wide throw? I have the SS1’s that bolt to the side of the bracket and those will obviously fit also. Thoughts/suggestions? Thanks.

I’d be worried about lights that low. Maybe a set of the 4-6” wide single row “light bar” types. DD makes some, but they sure are pricey.
I had a set of the SS3s in the bumper opening on my 2021. Going to try for the same on my 2024.

There's a bracket out there to mount a Diode Dynamic SCC1 light in place of the OEM fog light. Super simple install, brighter than OEM, and I hooked it to my upfitter switches so I can leave it on. It is however not as bright as your DD SCC3 light, but an affordable clean looking alternative to stock fog light for now.

The stock fogs are not that great…I did see there is a bracket and I do have SSC1’s but was going to use them in the rear. So you like the SSC1’s as a replacement fog?

THe fog lights need a massive upgrade. There is nothing out yet, and that sucks.

I like them better than the stock ones for sure, but will be upgrading to SCC3s when I figure out how I want to mount them.

Is there any reason you can’t mount on either side the front plate? Coming from the tremor 150 group lots of us did it. Some guys in the south ran (5) SS3 and never overheated the cooler
This one was mine with (2)

The whole fog light trim looks like it could be swapped out to fit a pair of SSC1's on each side 🤔

I don't think you'll have any issues if you aren't off-roading your truck. Personally, I think the placement looks a little goofy but the functionality will be fine.
