I have a 2024 Ranger XLT Sport 4wd. I like the truck a lot, but not so happy with the service department. I now have just shy of 4600 miles and my truck has spent about 2 1/2 to 3 weeks in service. It has been to the dealer twice for a "Check Brake System" light. The first time was there a week, and I was told there was a definite code relating to the brake booster, then told there was not a code, and everything checked out fine. I just picked it up today, after another week for hood latch adjustment, a fault code for the trailer module, and again the "Check Brake System". Before taking it in this time, the brake warning had showed up a least 10 times, and was on when the service writer wrote me up. Again they told me the brake system checked out fine, telling me how much brake pads are left, like this would be a problem with 4600 miles. Got on the freeway to go home, and the warning came on again. I called the service manager, and he said there was a code P050F recorded, but the system checks out ok in the self test. Obviously something is wrong. They are now picking up the truck at my house for another trip to the dealer.
