I was talking to Nathan from CBI Offroad and he said if I get enough Ranger owners interested to of buying these roof racks, he will make them. We just need to show the Ford Ranger community is big enough for CBI to start investing in the R&D to sell these. I really like the Prinsu Roof Rack Pro. They are really heavy duty and could probably support anything you throw at it and comes with a lot accessories to mount lights and handles. Please let me know if you are insterested and I will start a list.

FYI you need to drop down the entire headliner to install any Ranger roof rack, they are not at all plug and play. This part looks like a real PITA. Unless the USA spec trucks have welded nuts and predrilled holes in the roof channels?

Any idea how many support bolts per side, and what the actual dynamic load rating would be? Prinsu says 300 pounds but that figure has not been tested ;( Their show truck in your image would be pure nasty offroad without a doubt - including the bed rack and tent, it probably has 400 pounds of parts and gear up there. Expedition racks are trendy and cool, but you have to use common sense about how much heavy junk you put up there (no jerry cans and jack!)… if you need to carry that much stuff a trailer is way better.

Gotta love when companies want you to do their market research for them. I had one on my 5G ranger and loved it, but didn't love the price for what I got. Its 3 laser cut pieces of powdercoated steel and a few 2040 T-Slot aluminum sticks. Would I like to see them offer it? Yeah I would. But only at a price that makes sense

Yeah, I had to do that on my 5G but it wasn't too bad. The worst part was how close to the side curtain airbags I had to drill honestly. The roof channels only had through holes and the channel covers had studs on them that got bolted from underneath. I forwent their riv-nut solution and went the standard route with a proper riv-nut tool. Now is that the same as the 6G? I'll quote my niece and say "I 'unno"

FYI, I have one of those Roam boxes and it's a 83L case. Not as tall as a 95L one. I bought a used one for $200 and like it a lot. I have it mounted on the top of my bed rack and use it to hold all of my recovery gear.
Thanks for the info about how there isn't pre-drilled holes under the roof channels. I know Toyota has this to make it simple for a roof rack. Lets see if CBI will take in my truck and see what is needed to install it.

Still nothing available from Prinsu - hopefully they can make something soon.
