See attached. Been driving in -30 to -40 Celsius weather a bit, but I still don't think this is acceptable. This is my 4th raptor vehicle and never had trouble in the cold. Anyone else have trouble?

Sounds like a simple warranty replacement to me.
Have you contacted your dealer?

That's a sealed system with nitrogen. Has it always been there?

If it were my truck, I'd take images (which you've done) and wipe it off, then check it again in a day or two to see if it returns. Also, I'd see if the nut turns, might just be slightly loose, but again, that system doesn't appear to be compromised. Also, is it oil or grease?....or antifreeze or windshield fluid??

It's coming from higher up. I believe from where the shaft exits the shock body. It is oil for sure.

I think I now see the oil leaking that's higher up. I wonder if the cold is causing the internal seals to shrink and allowing some oil to pass. Regardless, the dealer won't be able to repair them, so they'd have to be sent out for seal replacements, or new shocks ordered. The first option would leave you without a truck for a while should Ford decide to go down that path.

if they order shocks and they are stocked someplace, should be a pretty straight-forward swap (same day), but if your shop has never done this before, it might scare them. Not all Ford dealers are knowledgeable about suspension, changes, etc.

e.g. When I had Ford install the Ford Performance Tune, they initially said they couldn't do it and referred me to another dealer that I refuse to step foot in. So if can depend on who you speak with to find someone that knows which mechanic (if any) are capable to perform the work.

Called dealer yesterday, told them about t the leaks. They said they would call me back. Called back and said new shocks are ordered. On back order tho. Didn't even want to see the truck. Said take pictures and email them to them.
