Got the RR back from Borla today I did not have time today to take detailed pics but my thoughts on driving it today I was expecting it to be louder and possibly some drone or noise at different speeds ( resonators deleted) but it was actually a deeper sound and less of the higher pitched noise I felt the stock exhaust had on highway driving in sports more deeper tone and louder but in a good way WOT is where you can really hear it come to life very happy with the sound thru out the whole RPM range all the exhaust flap modes work like the stock system quiet you can’t tell any difference. Brawler exhaust tips are 👍🏼
I really don't notice any high pitched noise in any of the exhaust modes. I think Baja sounds pretty deep now in Baja and I almost took a video yesterday, but deeper would be good. I really like the black tips and thought I might want chrome but I have decals all removed and black would be stealthy. I would also have to take it somewhere that could do welding :) Reached out to them (might have said already) but no pricing yet. You are a lucky guy :)

Have you listened to their Bronco Raptor exhaust video to compare how it sounds to the pre-production version on your truck?

Wow, this gives some good insight into the product that you don't see on the "Coming Soon" for our truck's page on their site. Also a probably good guess as to pricing. Design wise, besides the larger diameter piping, looking at a diagram of stock it doesn't have the four pipes exiting the muffler, only two. Two of the Borla's are larger and would seem to be a possible feature that, combined with the larger tubing might increase performance.....however they don't mention any. When I asked them about that they said "Generally with our exhaust you will see both performance and slight fuel efficiency improvements." My conclusion is that the sound isn't that different and if there were performance increases they would be mentioned. I run in Baja always and really don't notice any drone although there obviously is a difference in sound levels. I do really like the black tips for out Raptors and will consider strongly....too bad they have to be welded.

Thank you for the pictures.

I'm betting they took a Bronco Raptors exhaust and modified it to fit.

I am surprised that there's no 'X' or 'H' crossover between the muffler and where it attaches to the down-pipe exits.

They do look similar and same size pipe 2 3/4” and same 3.0L they did tell the the valves are unique with 4 settings that’s why they need the bypass pipes when the valves are closed for the quiet mode.

I hope they don't want as much for this system as they do for the Bronco raptor one, my wallet is already hurting! Would you say it sounds more or less the same in quiet mode? I use the heck out of it when the little one falls asleep in the backseat on road trips

In quite and normal I feel it even less noise in the cab as the tone is now deeper same in sport until you go WOT then the little one may wake up 😉

Thanks for the new pics. I think the design of four pipes out of the muffler is interesting. Definitely getting the tips :), but hard to guess how much ala carte pricing would be available or if you can even buy any of the tailpipe options separate from the mid-section, on their 2.3L catback which I had you just chose black or chrome tips and couldn't buy separately. We have probably seen the black tips that come from Australia which are nice but stupid expensive. No reason to think the system price will be significantly different for our truck.
